How we decide

Bridgeway makes its own decision about closing, based on staff and client safety and on conditions in the areas our families actually travel from. We do not automatically follow any one school district, because a district closing does not always match road conditions for everyone we serve.

How we tell you

When Bridgeway closes or delays, we contact affected clients through Spruce or by phone as soon as reasonably possible. If one channel is unavailable, we use another appropriate way to reach you. We may also post a general update on our website or official social media pages when available. Do not rely only on an online posting; call (606) 202-7654 if you are unsure whether to travel.

If you feel travel is unsafe even when we are open, stay home and call us. That is an excused absence.

If we need to cancel

If we cancel because a clinician is out or the office is closed, we will notify you as early as we can and offer a make-up appointment when one is available. Clinic cancellations never count toward your attendance record.

Bridgeway is not an emergency or crisis service. In a mental health crisis, call or text 988 any time. If someone is in danger, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
